#2 — Wolfe’s Neck Farm

#6 — Maine State Aquarium

The Maine State Aquarium is located on the coastline of West Boothbay Harbor, Maine. It is operated by the Maine Department of Marine Resources. Maine is all about the fishing environment and community, and you’ll get a sense of what the state is about by visiting the Maine State Aquarium.

You can take kids there to explore the vast collection of regional fish and invertebrates in tanks that are located on the main gallery’s granite cliffs. You’ll be able to see lobsters in all sizes and other ocean life in the “Downeast tank.”

Carriages of Acadia is centered on the Wildwood Stables location located next to Park Loop Road in Acadia National Park. You can take your family there and ride in a horse-drawn carriage ride or tour from the end of May through mid-October each year.

The tours go through the famous scenic carriage route that was created in 1913. There is a horse camp if you choose to bring your horse with you.

The Wildwood Stables experience is a great way for kids and adults to enjoy the scenic horse ranch environment. The only thing they don’t provide is horseback riding, but if you bring your horse, you can keep your horse in a stall to ride your horse while on the island.

The Bar Harbor Whale Watch Company features some of the largest whales in the world. There are various “whale watch” tours offered by the Bar Harbor Whale Watch Company at different times in the year.

Palace Playland is located in Old Orchard Beach, Maine and is New England’s only beachfront amusement park.
